Brief profile
Nicolás Rojas-Vargas is a geographer with expertise in human-environment systems (MSc. Global Change Geography – Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin), particularly in the climatic consequences of land use change, geoinformation systems and remote sensing.
As a trainee, he strengthens the GIS team. He is also involved in projects at local, regional and national level. His work focuses on supporting project work and working with geoinformation systems. His focus is on the creation of interactive, web-based GIS maps and the creation and maintenance of geodatabases and cartographic and interactive applications. Nicolás Rojas-Vargas is also responsible for carrying out spatial analyses as part of various projects.
