The aim of PHENOLEXA was to develop extraction processes to convert <strong>waste from agricultural products<\/strong> (e.g. olives, grapes, chicory and onions) into valuable ingredients. <\/p><p>At the same time, the health-promoting properties of these polyphenols were researched and the technical and economic feasibility of the processes and their environmental compatibility were tested.
