Fabia Dierks studied Geography at the University of Bonn and is currently deepening her knowledge in her Master’s degree in Geography with a focus on governance and space.

As early as her Bachelor’s degree, she dealt with urban issues, in particular aspects of urban development as well as nature conservation and environmental protection. In her Master’s degree, she is deepening these perspectives and is particularly concerned with social processes in urban areas and issues of (environmental) justice. A particular focus is on dealing with climate change and climate adaptation in urban governance processes, the associated negotiation processes and their social and spatial effects.
