The modular KLIMA.PROFIT process helps companies in the commercial sector to protect themselves against climate risks such as heat, heavy rain and storms in the long term. In this way, the advisory process responds to the increasing need for companies to become more climate-resilient in terms of infrastructure, production and personnel.
In the KLIMA.PROFIT NRW project, missing aspects were added to the advisory process that had already been designed in advance and tested extensively in 14 pilot companies in NRW. Based on these results, the process was optimized and further developed for later practical use. The project also included a four-day KLIMA.PROFIT training course for future consultants, workshops to accompany the process and interactive elements to network the companies with each other and with the municipalities.
The KLIMA.PROFIT consulting process was developed and tested by EPC as part of a pilot project co-financed by the state of NRW.
