Development of web-based software for the assessment and prevention of climate change related health risks in the workplace
Ongoing climate change is increasing health risks, particularly due to rising heat stress at workplaces. It is therefore becoming increasingly important for companies to consistently reduce climate-related risks in order to maintain the performance of their workforce and thus their profitability.
The ADAPT2CARE project focuses on the development of web-based software for companies to record climate risks at different workplaces using quick checks or comprehensive analyses and thus derive individual measures. The practical needs of companies are incorporated into the development process, taking into account the findings of occupational science.
In addition to identifying climate risks, the tool offers practical support for all occupational health and safety stakeholders within and outside the company. The tool should be transferable to many sectors and companies in the long term.
