Integrated climate protection concept for the city of Wuppertal

Plan and implement climate protection and climate adaptation together. The city of Wuppertal is currently creating an integrated climate protection concept in which climate protection and adaptation to the effects of climate change are considered together. The city is supported by EPC gGmbH, GERTEC GmbH from Essen and K.Plan from Bochum.

EPC works on the topics climate adaptation and climate-friendly urban development / land management and is also responsible for public relations. The aim is to involve the general public and experts in the process and to connect many stakeholders. There are three major public events, several workshops and interviews. In addition, PR products are being developed.

The Climate Protection Concept aims to develop a realistic and implementable measures program. The aim is to bring together previous sectoral issues on a citywide strategy to stabilize the municipal climate protection process in Wuppertal.
